The scrapbook pages don't really do the pics justice because there are so many on a page. But I couldn't help help but scrapbook them all because they are so cute! I'll just have to get big prints of the ones I really like!
Recently I have become semi-obsessed with digital scrapbooking! I created this blog for two reasons. First, to share the pages I create with my friends and family. Second, to provide information about digital scrapbooking to those who are interested. I've spent a lot of time researching this stuff so I thought it would be cool to share what I've learned. Plus, lots of my friends have been asking lots of questions about digital scrapbooking so this is an easy and quick way for me to share lots of info! Hope you enjoy.
All the cards I have created are free of charge for anyone who is interested. Just email me your pics, what you want written on the card, and which card you want. Keep in mind that if you like the layout of a card but not the colors that is easy to change. After you choose your card I'll customize it for you and you can print it wherever you choose. If you have a specific design in mind that you'd like please let me know, I'm happy to start from scratch too.
My absolute top suggestion is Photoshop CS4. It is expensive and takes time to learn but if you are serious about digital scrapbooking and having great pictures than it is definitely worth it. If this isn't something you plan on investing a lot of time and money in then go for Photoshop Elements. A lot of people consider it all they need to do their digital scrapbooking. It is easier to learn and less expensive. If you're really concerned about the money try buying an older version online through amazon or nextag. The upgrades are nice to have but they are small changes that don't make a huge difference in your overall use of the program. If you are a student at a university you can usually buy these programs discounted at your school's bookstore. There are more software options listed in the pamphlet "15 things to know..." which is the link above this. You can read that but I definitely think Photoshop is the best program out there for digital scrapbooking.
I've done a lot of research on the best places to print my 12x12 pages. I wanted mine printed individually (instead of a bound book) so that I have the freedom to add and remove pages whenever I want to. The best place I found is the Costco Photocenter. They print on photopaper for $2.99 per page. Costco is definitely the best value for your money. They have awesome quality that you would pay $5.00-$10.00 per page for anywhere else. I have other links listed below that also print pretty nice pages for less money. I decided on Costco because I like their quality and having my pages printed on photo paper.
